Glassy Mountain is 3200 feet above sea level just off highway 11.  The Cliffs at Glassy is the oldest of the Cliffs gate residential communities with 982 platted lots, of which over 850 have been sold (3/30/06).  There are over 250 homes completed in the Cliffs and 30 more are being constructed..

Cliffs Valley is in the foothills of 25 north and has over 160 completed residences with over 790 lots and 37 homes presently under construction (3/30/06)..

In addition, every aspect of a home being built within the Cliffs Communities has to be approved by an architectural review board that includes Cliffs residents.  This helps so the home "disappears" into nature.

But keep in mind the Cliffs may not be a place for people who don't like to have bears, raccoons, wildcats or even a cougar come calling when they're eating on their porch.

As long as we respect them, I don't see any reason people and wildlife can't live in harmony in any of the Cliffs Communities.
