DANIEL ISLAND:  Daniel Island is situated between the Wando River and the Cooper River.  The island is five miles long and 3 miles wide and has 20 miles of water frontage. PARK WEST:  Located in the East Cooper area of Mt. IVY HALL:  This subdivision is relatively new.  Home in Ivy Hall range from about $130,000 and $190,000.  The homes, built by Don Galloway Builders, range from 1200 to 2200 square feet in size. In comparison to other areas, the lots in Ivy Hall are smaller, but its location is very convenient.  Also, the homeowner's association fees are very reasonable.  Ivy Hall does not offer any amenities, but public amenities are nearby.  This is a great area for the first time home buyer. They are located on smaller lots and built by Don Galloway Builders. The subdivision is located about 30 minutes from downtown Charleston.

LONGPOINT SUBDIVISION:
 The Longpoint Subdivision is located off of Longpoint Road just across from Boone Hall Plantation and adjacent to Palmetto Island County Park.  The Longpoint Subdivision is convienently located to the Mt. Pleasant Town Center, the Charleston Airport, I-526 and the Historic District. The Longpoint Subdivision has approximately 500 single family homes ranging in price between $160,000 and $900,000. Most of the homes were built between 1989 and 1992. Children in the Longpoint Subdivision attend the Belle Hall Elementary, the new Cario Middle School, and will attend the brand new (2004) Wando High School, some of the best schools in Charleston County as well as Mount Pleasant. STONO FERRY:  The Stono Ferry subdivision is about 20 miles south of Charleston and borders the Stono River.  Many of the homes in the Plantation of Stono Ferry are located along the Inter Coastal Waterway and the Stono River or are located near marshlands.  These waterfront properties are gorgeous and reasonably priced.  Stono Ferry also consists of lovely pasture lots that surround a polo field and the Stono Ferry Equestrian Center.  Many of these lots overlook grazing horses or the lovely Log Bridge Creek. A few of the lots have tidal creek water access. HEADQUARTERS ISLAND:  Headquarters Island is completely private and surrounded by marsh and water. Headquarters Island is very secluded, but is only  a short fifteen minute drive  from downtown Charleston. Headquarters Island is located off of Maybank Highway near the Stono River bridge.  The "Island" community has two parts.  One part is a condominium section and the part is a gated single home section.
