DANIEL ISLAND: Daniel Island is situated between the Wando River and the Cooper River. The island is five miles long and 3 miles wide and has 20 miles of water frontage. The Plantation consists of greenways and parks, almost 25 miles of biking and hiking trails. Many parks, tennis courts, pools, and picnic areas are also available to residents. For those of you who don't want to drive the distance to the beaches at the Atlantic Ocean, a gorgeous seventy acre lake is available to residents. However, if you enjoy the gorgeous city of downtown Charleston, it is only a short drive away.
The Plantation also offers a complete public school system from K-12 and is home to the Crowfield Golf and Country Club. The country club offers an 18 hole golf course that borders the lake. A full service clubhouse, tennis courts, pro-shop and a pool are also included. There are special rates at the Country Club for Crowfield Plantation residents.
Goose Creek is a rapidly growing area offering shopping and quick access to the beaches, Charleston, Mount Pleasant, Sullivans Island, and the gorgeous Isle of Palms.
